ALL IS WELL

Death is nothing at all
I have only slipped away into the next room
I am i and you are you
Whatever we were to each other
That we still are

Calling me by my old familiar name
Speak to me in the easy way which you always used
Put no forced air of solemnity or sorrow

Laugh as we always laughed at the little jokes we enjoyed together
Play,smile,think of me

Let my name be ever the household word that it always was
Let it be spoken without effect
Without the trace of a shadow on it

Life means all that it ever ment
It is the same as it ever was
There is absolutely unbroken continuity

Why should i be out of mind becauce i am out of sight?
I am but waiting for you
For an interval
Somewhere very near
Just around the corner
ALL is well

Terry Lowe "A Fishy Friend".

Fishing at Fennes,Terry's favourite lake, brought back memories of friends he did make. Catching carp & roach, if the truth be told, are probably some of the fish he did hold.

Although not seen on the bank today,I felt he was watching and wanted to say, "Thank you for attending, and taking part, including old cheesy, you silly old fart."
You can sit on his bench to ponder a while,i'm sure you'll remember his beaming smile.Oh what a pleasure he gave to us all,his laughter and wit we will always recall.

With Terry around you knew the score, jokes by the dozen, quips even more.Laugh till you cried, and your belly aching, Oh how he liked laughter making.

My favorite memory of Terry's wit, was in the Benbridge,by the bar he did sit.He tipped up his glass, with pinkie so proud, I said "What's that for?",he replied rather loud.

"There's a very good reson for that, silly boy!, it keeps my balance,it's not just a ploy". He further replied, and i quote,"it stops my hand going down the throat!".

This was written by one of Terry's fishing friends.
